whilst the red thumb rests
the following is frome Devon Legworths journal found recently in an abandoned mine ine California.
Jan. 13
I have once again traveled to the small town of Gortly only to find that all that was once there to be gone. why? I have no answers at this time but I can promise I will search the earth to find the remaining star flowers. It has been a busy travel with lots of eating and bar fights. The last week we stayed in Dagwood we fought a coyote. the group is holding up and we will soon be out of the mountians and into the homes of our loved ones. On a sad note we did lose Wesley the butcher to frost bite. Well not to mention that the yeti took of with his .....well.........him. so Our party of 12 is now just 11. the wood widdler has created a shoe for walking in this awful snow i think with his skill we can finish our journey
So as we approach the woods just outside Freemoth we ask each other the same question. Will the hungry beasts within these woods be our end or will we triumph and see our lovely town once more.
Last log entry of the journal of Devon Legworth
I took the liberty of copy this text for all of you to read cuz I found it inspiring. History shows that Devon did not make it back to his hometown but three of his fellow party goers did and told many heroic stories of the great Devon and how he had saved there lives countless times. Hopefully you will all take this text to haert and follow in Devon's foot steps.\
